Automation system for swing gates - BFT Athos AC400

The automation kit for swing gates BFT Athos AC A40 contains:

• 2 gearmotors;
• 1 control center;
• 1 set of photocells;.
• 1 smart relay;
• 2 remote controls with 2 Mitto channels.

The Athos AC A40 motors work at a supply voltage of 230V and operate the swing gates with a traction force of 3000N, so the opening speed is only 16 seconds.

If for some reason the motors are no longer supplied with electricity, the swing gates can be operated manually with the help of a customized key that rotates to the right 180° to release and reverse to lock, thus traffic will not be affected.

The Athos AC A40 motors slow down when the swing gates reach the end of the stroke to avoid a possible impact.

The appearance of the motors is compact, with dimensions of 1170x191x98 mm and a weight of 5.3 Kg.

With the ALENA SW2 control unit, the swing gate automation will have the most efficient adjustments brought by the BFT manufacturer.

ALENA SW2 communicates by radio with all the equipment of the automation kit, it sends the commands that they must fulfill at a later time, making it the brain of the mechanization.

The ALENA SW2 control unit has multiple functions, such as partial opening for pedestrian access, self-learning of the courses, fast and automatic closing, so the command is no longer necessary.

Another key aspect is safety, thus the control unit stops the motor action and reverses the movement in case of detecting an obstacle.

It works at a voltage of 230V and is very resistant to critical conditions thanks to the case that has a very high protection standard.

The safety of the automation kit consists in the set of photocells, which detect the vehicle between the gates at the time of the action, but also any type of obstacle within their range, thus eliminating the possibility of an accident.

The set of photocells is installed on the pillars of the swing gates, in order to be able to monitor the action, and for more safety, more photocells can be mounted on the ends of the gates, but also outside them, for a more efficient surveillance in the entire area of action.

The high degree of protection IP44 prevents wear and tear, they are resistant to dust, moisture and work perfectly in adverse weather conditions, at temperatures between -20°C and 60°C.

The swing gates are opened with a simple push of a button on the Mitto 2 remote control, which has a maximum range of 50m (in open field).

It is compatible with BFT automation systems, and thanks to the Rolling Code algorithm, it cannot be cloned.

The Mitto 2 remote control transmits to the control center a unique code each time, which is recognized only by the receiver and approved only once.

If you forget the remote control or find it inconvenient to use, the solution is the smart relay included in the kit that helps you open the gates directly from the application on your mobile phone.
